DAY ONE A r r i v e L iv i n g s t o n e , Z a m b ia
As you will be entering Zambia, a single entry visa will be required and is
obtainable at the point
of entry at a cost of USD50.00 per person, payable in cash. The visa fee is
subject to change at
the discretion of the Zambian Government.
On arrival at Livingstone Airport a Sussi & Chuma representative will meet and
transfer you to the
lodge. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes. Sussi & Chuma is named
after David
Livingstone's faithful companions and consist of an intimate lodge and two
exclusive houses, both
of which are situated to make the most of the amazing views that the sweeping
Zambezi River
provides.
Guest accommodation consists of 12 luxury tree houses and two 2-bedroomed Chuma
houses,
built into the canopy of majestic ebony trees, which shelter a stunning variety
of bird life. Each
unit has a private view of the Zambezi and is en-suite with air conditioning,
mini bar, mosquito
nets, overhead fan & hairdryer.
The central lodge building features a raised bar/lounge with deck, downstairs
open air dining
area, swimming pool and a separate treatment room which provide incredible views
of the mighty
Zambezi. Meals are table d'hote with a wide variety of dishes available, served
alfresco. Activities
offered at the lodge include, game drives in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park,
where guests can
see a variety of game, including white rhino, elephant, buffalo and giraffe. A
walking tour of the
incredible Victoria Falls, a World Heritage Site, is a must as they give guests
an opportunity to
experience one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. On offer is a local
cultural village tour of
the local Simonga village, where a number of the staff from Sussi & Chuma are
employed from.

The day is at leisure to enjoy the activities on offer, enjoy a sundowner cruise
on the Mighty
Zambezi river and watch an African sunset.

DAY THREE L i v i n g s t o n e t o P u k u R i d g e C a m p
Please meet the lodge representative in the reception area of the lodge for your
transfer to
Livingstone Airport. Depart Livingstone on a Proflight scheduled light aircraft
charter flight via
Lusaka to Mfuwe Airport. The flying time is approximately 1 hour to Lusaka, get
off the plane and
re check in for onward flight to Mfuwe. Lusaka to Mfuwe is a 1 hour flight. On
arrival at the
airport a Puku Ridge Camp representative will transfer you to the camp. The
transfer time is
approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, mostly through the South Luangwa National
Park.
Puku Ridge Camp is situated in a remote wildlife rich area in the South Luangwa
National Park
and is named after the Puku antelope that inhabits the Kakumbi Dambo
(floodplain), which the
camp overlooks. This small and intimate bush camp is built on a hillside,
combining an authentic
safari experience under canvas with 5-star facilities and the wildlife that
frequents the area.
The seven luxury tented rooms of the camp are spaced a good distance apart, with
drop-down
canvas flaps for impressive 180 degree views of the floodplain. The comfortably
furnished rooms
with luxurious interiors are equipped with twin or queen beds, mosquito nets and
indoor and
outdoor showers. The large oval bath also provides the perfect spot to relax and
view the
impressive wildlife in front of the tent. The private decked area, overlooking
the small waterhole
makes it the perfect vantage point to sit and watch the African bush unfold.
A full range of day and night game drives in the South Luangwa National Park are
offered by the
camp, using open 4X4 vehicles driven by knowledgeable guides. The emphasis in
this area is on
the wonderful opportunities of walking safaris with a professional guide and an
armed national
parks scout. Walking safaris offer a different perspective on the bush and its
plentiful inhabitants,
experiencing the “little five”.

After breakfast a camp representative will transfer you to the airport. The
transfer time will be
advised to you locally. Depart Mfuwe on Proflight shared light aircraft charter
flight to Kulefu
airstrip, in the Lower Zambezi. The flying time is approximately 1 hour 40 mins.
On arrival at the
airstrip a camp representative will transfer you to the camp. A short walk down
the bank to the
boat. The transfer time is approximately 20 minutes by boat to the camp. Kindly
note, that all
inter-camp flights are subject to multiple pick up and drop offs en-route to
your destination which
would affect the flying time.
Deep in the game-rich Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambezi Kulefu Camp is a
secluded, intimate safari
camp settled comfortably in the deep shade of tall riverine trees. Profoundly
peaceful, ecofriendly
and well appointed, the camp overlooks one of the permanent channels of the
legendary
Zambezi River.
Enjoy the beautiful riverbank setting at Kulefu 'the faraway place', which
offers excellent game
viewing opportunities, as the wildlife is concentrated in the land corridor
between the steep
escarpment and the river. The camp offers seven spacious tented rooms with twin
or double
beds, mosquito nets and en-suite facilities, offering a relaxing view of the
mighty Zambezi. The
central lounge and dining area are housed in a magnificent Bedouin style tent
which gives a
lovely open air feel to the setting and allow guests to feel as though they are
part of the
surrounding environment. Teak furniture and natural fabrics add an authentic
feel to this
incredible bush experience as well as providing luxurious comfort. The location
is enhanced by a
swimming pool right on the river bank as well as a teak deck overlooking the
river. An evening
campfire forms an integral part of the camp where guests can sit and discuss the
events and
sightings of the day.

DAY SEVEN & EIGHT Zambezi Kulefu Camp

DAY, NINE Z a m b e z i K u l e f u C a m p t o Lusaka
Time permitting the morning is at leisure to enjoy the game viewing activities
on offer.
After breakfast a camp representative will transfer you to the airstrip. The
transfer time will be
advised to you locally. Depart Kulefu on a Proflight shared light aircraft
charter flight to Lusaka
Airport. The flying time is approximately 40 minutes. Kindly note, that all
inter-camp flights are
subject to multiple pick up and drop offs en-route to your destination which
would affect the
flying time.
Depart Lusaka on a scheduled flight for onward journey.
