Deep in the game-rich Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambezi Kulefu Camp  is a secluded, intimate safari camp settled comfortably in the deep
shade of tall riverine trees.
Profoundly peaceful, eco-friendly and well appointed, Kulefu Camp overlooks one of the permanent channels of the legendary Zambezi River.

Enjoy the beautiful riverbank setting at Kulefu ‘the faraway place’, which offers excellent game viewing opportunities, as the wildlife is concentrated in the land corridor between the steep escarpment and the river.

Kulefu camp offers seven spacious chalets with twin or double beds, mosquito nets, ensuite facilities and tranquil view of the Zambezi River.
The central lounge and dining area are housed in two magnificent Bedouin style
tents, giving an open air feel and harmonising with the surrounding environment. Teak furniture and natural fabrics add an authentic and luxurious feel to this camp. There is a refreshing swimming pool and teak deck overlooking the river.
Guests can also sit around an evening fire on the banks of the river.

Batteries can be charged by generator and lights in the evening are supplied by 220 volt inverter. Traditional paraffin lamps illuminate pathways and tent entrances.

Animals include elephants, lion, hippo, wild dog, aardvark, serval, honey badger and leopard.
Professionally guided game viewing and night drives in open 4x4 vehicles.

Excellent fishing opportunities offered year
round but the best months are Apr / May and Sep / Nov.

The “dry” season is from May to November and is the easiest time to travel.
June to August are the coolest months, with cold mornings &
evenings. October is the hottest month in Zambia, so be prepared for temperatures of over 40 degrees celcius if you travel.
