Bushman Rock Art tour - The tour starts with some walking which involves a hike over some steep and rocky terrain. Alan Weyer, Kwandwe’s resident historian and raconteur will lead you back in time to discover the prolific rock-art, relics and artefacts found in the Eastern Cape Valley.   Max 6 guests; Age - 6 years and older

Flight of the Blue Crane - Take off from Kwandwe in a fixed-wing aircraft for just over an hour’s flight over the Frontier Region. Fly over the rural scenes to the coast, where you could spot a Southern Right or Humpback whale (seasonal) and dolphins. Fly along the coast over the largest active sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. Following the route taken by the early Settlers you will fly from Port Elizabeth back to Grahamstown and back to Kwandwe. max 6 guests

Phinda Game Reserve

Bush skills - Stalking cautiously through the bush, tracking a rhino, shooting targets in a remote riverbed and rifle skills training are some of the exciting activities experienced on this 4 day 3 night adventure. Private family safari @ Phinda - This is for families wishing to introduce their children to the marvels of the wild now have the option to book a tailormade family adventure at &Beyond Phinda. Flight of the Fish Eagle - Experience a breathtaking 60min flight over the diverse Maputaland wilderness of scenic pans, coastal lakes, bushveld, densely vegetated dunes and wildlife and spot whales, whalesharks, dolphins and turtles in the magnificent Indian Ocean. Min 2 guests; Duration 1 hour flight; 5 years and older.

Beach Adventure – A 15min flight or 45min drive in a specially designed 4x4 beach vehicle takes you to the beautiful beach at Jesser Point. Tide-dependant, you will be driven to a secluded spot where you can enjoy snorkelling, swimming, sunning on the beach as well as a delicious picnic. Duration approx 4 hours; all ages welcome. There are NO Beach Adventures on 1 & 2 Jan, over the Easter weekend, and on 25 & 26 Dec.

Isikolethu Zulu Cultural Tour - Experience the wonders and diversity of the Zulu culture while exploring the Mduku, Mnqobokazi and Nibela rural communities surrounding the Reserve. Enjoy visits to the Sangoma (witch doctor), Mdluli Ancestoral Home and the Mbhedula Craft Market. After an action-packed morning, guests will return to Phinda in time for a late lunch. Min 2 guests, max 28 guests; all ages welcome.

Turtle Drive - A 45min drive from Phinda takes you to meet your beach ranger who will show you the wonders of the beach at night. In season (end Nov-mid Jan), loggerhead and leatherback turtles make the strenuous trail up the beach to lay their eggs. Tide-dependant, you will either enjoy snacks, drinks and hot toddies on the beach or a delicious surfside supper. Max 16 guests; Duration 2 hours; all ages welcome. There are NO Beach Adventures on 1 & 2 Jan, over the Easter weekend, and on 25 & 26 Dec.

Horse Riding - Enjoy the unmatched delight of riding well-schooled horses through False Bay Nature Reserve. After the ride, relax and enjoy a picnic snack. Max 8 guests; 4 years and older; Duration 1 & ˝ hours; Degree of exertion – moderate.
