Adjacent to the world renowned Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is famed for its intimate wildlife encounters, particularly leopard viewing. Home to a host of wildlife, including the Big Five, the Sabi Sand is part of a conservation area that covers over two million hectares (almost five million acres), an area equivalent to the state of New Jersey and larger than some independent countries.

With no boundary fences between the reserve and the Kruger National Park, this area benefits from the great diversity of wildlife found in one of the richest wilderness areas on the African continent along with the additional benefits experienced on a private game reserve

Featuring only 4 air-conditioned suites each with a fireplace, sitting room, ensuite bathroom, outdoor shower and private plunge pool., Intimate and elegant Leadwood Lodge is the perfect choice for a family or group of friends sharing a safari.
The suites are distanced from each other for solitude and serenity and are designed with crushed stone, raw cement, rough granite and glass.

Leadwood Lodge boasts a tactile blend of boldly expressed and contrasted materials – crushed stone, raw cement, dark meranti, rough granite and glass. Soft furnishings provide an inviting counter point to the textures and patinas of the structure. Exeter is renowned for its world-class rangers and Shangaan trackers who are regarded as among the best in Africa.

Explore the Sabi Sand Game Reserve on interpretive wilderness walks led by experienced Andbeyond rangers or expert Shangaan trackers, and learn more about the area’s intriguing fauna and flora. Guided bush walks bring you face-to-face with wild Africa at its best.
