| LOCATION | The Gemsbok National Park in Botswana is the continuation of the Kalahari Gemsbok Park in South Africa, from which is separated by the dry river bed of the Nossob River. It covers an area of 9000 square kilometers of Kalahari Desert. The entrance to the park is at Twee Rivieren. |

| SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS | Malaria. There is no camping sites or any other facilities. Visitors must be in possession of a permit and carry with them all the necessary water, food, petrol and camping equipment for the duration of their stay. When camping beware of dangerous animals. |
| WILDLIFE | Lion, Leopard, Wild Dog, Cheetah, Springbok, Gemsbok, Wildebeest, Brown and Spotted Hyena, Eland and other Antelopes. |
