| KAOKOLAND NATURE RESERVE More about Namibia |

| LOCATION | North-Western Namibia, separated from the Atlantic Ocean by the Skeleton Coast Park. This Reserve covers an area of more than one million ha. of rugged unspoiled terrain, alternating between wide grassy plains and mountain ranges. Not a recommended reserve for ease-loving tourists, but rather for people that appreciate being isolated from it all, in the middle of nowhere. On visiting the reserve, groups of at least 2 4X4 vehicles is highly recommended. They must carry all food, water, spares, first aid kit and camping equipment. |
| ACCOMMODATION | None. Visitors normally camp next to the dry river beds. |
