Behind a fountain of bronze buck, caught in mid-leap as they free the outstretched claws of cheetah, lies a soaring, reception atrium with a hand-frescoed dome, six storey high. The 338 air-conditioned, spacious and beautifully appointed rooms in the Palace have all the sophisticated luxuries of today, from private safes to mini-bars. There are 19 different room configurations and some of the suites, with their al fresco spas and glass-walled, marble-floored bathrooms, provide spectacular views while one relaxes in the shooting water.
