Deep in the heart of the South African bush, close to the Kruger Game Reserve, lies an exclusive holiday hideaway that wouldn't be out of place in the set of the Lion King. Sir Richard Branson's Ulusaba Private Game Reserve, part of the Limited Edition by Virgin portfolio, is the epitome of luxury safari travel for all the family. Guests can kick back, happy in the knowledge that their little pride of cubs are being expertly cared for at Rock Lodge's 'Cub's Club'. And for something to really roar about, Limited Edition by Virgin is offering all cubs under the age of 12 the chance to stay absolutely free based on holidays taken throughout July, August and in October half-term week this year

As well as the fantastic Cub's Club programme for younger pride members, Ulusaba caters especially for families with the conveniently designed Rock Suite. The family Rock Suite has been so popular that Limited Edition recently built two new family suites complete with their own plunge pool.

Aiming to both entertain and educate cubs about their surroundings, the Cub's Club doesn't offer a set programme, but rather a range of activities suitable for every child. Cubs start their holiday with a treasure hunt especially designed to introduce them to their surroundings.

On arrival cubs will receive a Cubs Club Backpack, which contains a wealth of goodies to help keep them entertained while in the African Bush, such as a colouring book, T shirt, camera, insect catcher and bubble bath. Cubs will find story books in their rooms and in the lounge, plus a great range of games, classic children's DVD's and videos along with music CD's. Days can be rounded off with a bedtime story in the lounge complete with milk and cookies. On departure, cubs will be invited to become permanent members of Ulusaba Cub's Club and will receive a bi-annual newsletter and birthday card.

While the pride is being cared for in the Cub's Club, adults can enjoy early morning and evening safari game viewings which take place daily both on foot and by jeep, and with the lure of the big five roaming wild, is a treat that few can refuse. There is also a chance to participate in the daily bush walk, indulge in some luxury beauty of chiropractic treatments at the Aroma Boma beauty treatment centre, visit the gym or play a game of tennis.

Up to two children travelling with one or more adults will go free provided they stay with us during selected periods
This offer is subject to availability to the time of booking.
This offer is available to Cubs aged between 0 to 11yrs.
We class Infants to be aged between 0 - 5 yrs, and Children to be aged between 6 to 11 years
Infants are unable to participate on game drives
Children are welcome to participate on game drives however they can not partake in safari walks
All children are welcome to Rock lodge, however we can not allow infants to stay at Safari lodge
The 'Kids Go Free' offer is valid for children sharing with parents in suites that accommodate two children and their parents, although some of our rooms have a separate bedroom for the children so the parents still have privacy. As long as we have a room available that can accommodate 3 to 4 people, then you are eligible for the offer.
Infants aged under 6 go free to Ulusaba anyway as they do not participate in game viewing and generally do not require a rollaway bed. If this is the case we will not charge for them either, even if you are bringing another 2 children with you. However, if you require a separate bed for your infant, we may count them in with other children - call us if you would like this clarified.
