Back home for only four days and still enjoying some super
memories of the above refenced holiday which you booked for us. The game
viewing was wonderful, and the hotel and lodges were excellent. All of the
flights and transfers which were organised by your company worked very

Back in Switzerland and after two months back at work –
that started somehow steep – I only now find the time to write you some
lines.
First of all I wanted to thank you so much for
organizing our Botswana trip and specially for your assistance and help in
getting our luggage. I think I already knew by our email contact that I
had a lucky punch by booking our trip with you. But when i had you on the
phone I was absolutely sure about that. I was – and still am – so happy
that you reassured us to go to the safari after loosing the luggage and
that you offered to care yourself to find it and send it after. Although
we organized some spare clothes, toothpaste and repellent in Livingstone –
my trousers turned out to be maternity clothing – and we could have done
it with that, I could rely on you and I knew that somebody cares and that
one day or another the luggage will find us again. The evening this came
true, I almost kissed a staff member at chobe under canvas and I even
danced making a complete fool of me. Once again thank you so much.
Concerning the trip itself, I don't know what to say in my
awkward english but WOW. What an adventure, what an experience. It was
really &beyond, beyond expectation, beyond everything you can imagine. The
itinerary was perfect – arriving in Livingstone with a first boat game
drive on the Zambezi and several walks to the Victoria Falls, due to the
perfect location of the hotel. Leaving to Chobe with hilarious sightings
of animals in the middle of nature, that seemed to appear like in the
first days of creation – I promised our guide Meier not to tell more,
because he was scared that everyone will expect the same and take it for
usual. In short we had it all. I loved the tent camp close to nature and
the sounds of silence and smells of it. Before leaving Switzerland I was
sometimes a little astonished about my courage choosing this way of
traveling but the &beyond staff, Meier and the cooks were so professional
and reassuring, openminded and warmhearted, that I just felt comfortable
and safe as a beginner in the wild. They know all what they do and you can
absolutely trust them. By going on, the lodges got more and more
luxurious, the landscapes changed every detail enchanting as well as the
light and the sounds that all of a sudden got loud. What an experience to
say hello to a elephant bull in front of your room early in the morning,
to hear a pride of lions roaring all night long and passing your tent. Not
to forget the food and the service, excellently organized and coordinated
but still easy. We ended up in Xudum, our final destination. The trip to
the lodge by boat was already exceptional watching a journey of giraffes
crosssing the river, hippos bathing and like Nxabega a great and
warmhearted welcome. I loved also the gamedrive with our wonderful but
somehow crazy – he knows why - guide. We had a excellent time, only time
was too short. I would have liked to stay at least one day more at each
lodge, may be only to dream myself into the landscape and the sounds.
The only thing I know is that I would like to come back to
Africa and I would like to choose again &beyond – maybe to Tanzania or so.
