Dear Ernest,

We have been back for two weeks and are savoring the wonderful trip you put together for us. Thank you so very much. The variety of scenery, transportation and lodges was wonderful. There was not a bad note anywhere. We enjoyed every day to the fullest.
We also want to thank you for being available to help us with the last minute reservations when our flight home was cancelled. It meant a lot to us when you picked up the phone in the evening and reassured us that you'd take care of everything. It was so nice to be able to have someone (YOU) to trust.
To summarize, the Royal Livingstone accommodations were beautiful, elegant and so convenient. What a starter for the trip!
The Chobe Savanna in Namibia was superb; The managers, Brett and Roxanne, were the most hospitable people we've ever met. They made us feel that they truly wanted to make our stay the best it could be. Their kitchen and staff were excellent, too.
The Chobe Game Lodge was well-run for such a relatively big place. The game driver was charming and well-informed. We have lots of movie clips of his voice explaining things about the animals.
Federal Air worked out great. Their pilots were young and capable and their planes were well-maintained.
Rocktail Bay was certainly interesting. No turtles while we were there. The management seemed sort of inexperienced but we had a great time and some otherwordly midnight jeep rides on the beach. Their food staff was good with nice meals around the fire.
Phinda private Game Lodge was a real standout. What a place. We can't say enough good things about it. The ranger and tracker...the unbelievable food...and their consideration and hospitality.
The Zimbale Lodge was a great treat for the end of the trip and near enough to Durban to do lots of craft and tribal art shopping.
We so appreciate what you put together for us. Our sons enjoyed the beginning of their trip with us; they had a great time on their "freestyle" part of the trip, though Bruce and I can't see the attraction to 15 hours in a minivan with 15 locals!
Well, Ernest, another hearty thank you from us. We would be pleased to serve as references for you if ever needed.
We can't wait to return to Africa! Do you book Uganda Ruwanda gorilla trips?

Hello Ernest,
Now we are safely home again in France we just wanted to thank you once
again for a marvellous trip which you organised so well for us. Everything
worked like clockwork and we felt so well cared for. The choice of
reserves, Madikwe and Ngala was superb, each one special in their own way but
above all the same philosophy of caring, thoughtfulness and making our trip so
memorable. And Beyond seems to be a superb organisation and we are so
glad you have used their reserves.
The only glitch we had was on our return from Ngala to Joburg airport. We
had been with some Swedish people who were also returning to Joburg around
the same time as us but they managed to go a little before us direct to
Joburg, whilst we turned up on time for our little Fed Air flight and had to
make 3 stops, then change planes I think at Skukusa and finally arrived at
the airport already a bit frayed around the edges, not sure how it happened
like that but not your fault anyway. The fact that our Lufthansa flight
was cancelled did not help either but that also was nothing to do with you.
It was a shame though as we had had such a magical time throughout it was
sad to finish up with problems.
We managed to see all the Big Five including leopards mating (in Ngala) so
you can imagine we felt we had had the best holiday of our lives.
We shall not hesitate to contact you next time we feel like planning
another trip and we are also going to give your details to two sets of friends
of ours who were very interested in our trip. Our very best regards and

I am very sorry but I meant to send this email to you on our return from South Africa back in August.

Thank you very much for your advice regarding our safari and arranging our trip to Sabi Sabi. We had an absolutely wonderful time and the travel arrangements could not have been better. The accommodation, food and the whole atmosphere of the camp was truly magical. It was quite a luxury having our own driver and tracker and they could not have been more accommodating, helpful and entertaining. The memories of the trip will always stay with us and we hope to return again one day when you might again recommend an itinerary for us.
