Thorntree Lodge is situated on the Zambian bank of the Zambezi River, within the renowned Mosi - O - Tunya National Park and only 15km upstream from Victoria Falls. With just 16 beds, Thorntree offers its guests a very unique and personal African experience. The lodge blends naturally into the riverine vegetation and commands superb river views from its private balconies. All lodges have en suite facilities and are beautifully appointed. Guests can enjoy the Zambezi's famous Sunsets and perhaps the regular procession of elephant as they follow an age-old migration route that runs directly in front of the Lodge. Thorntree's riverside location allows for a wide choice of activities, including sunset cruises, game drives, canoeing, fishing and of course visits to the Falls. Comfortable pontoon boats take guests out on the Zambezi River where they can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of this lovely stretch of River.
